Pinery Glen Real Estate
The Pinery Southwest, commonly known as Pinery Glen, is located just off Parker Road between Parker and Franktown. Because The Pinery is a relatively large neighborhood, it was divided into smaller neighborhoods, each featuring its own identity. Homes in Pinery Glen are mostly traditional designs with open floorplans and spacious back yards.
The family-friendly neighborhood offers a community swimming pool, multiple parks, and natural open space. Pinery Glen also backs up to the Cherry Creek Trail, which is a perfect venue for cycling and strolling through a beautiful area. Residents also enjoy a playground, plus tennis and basketball courts.
Pinery Glen is just a short drive on Crowfoot Street from Castle Rock, and the commute to the Denver Tech Center is only about 25 minutes and downtown Denver about 40 minutes during rush hour.
Continental Homes has been among the most active builders in Pinery Glen over the years. Most are two-story homes with the occasional ranch style residence. Most homes average between 1,500 and 2,500 finished square feet of living space.
There are several country clubs near Pinery Glen, including The Pinery Country Club, The Club at Pradera, The Colorado Golf Club, Black Bear Golf Course, Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, The Ridge at Castle Pines, and Bear Dance Golf Club.
Pinery Glen is served by the Douglas County School District, and private schools include Ave Maria Catholic School, Lutheran High School, Southeast Christian School, and Regis Jesuit High School. Nearby hospitals include Parker Adventist Hospital, Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, and Sky Ridge Medical Center. All three are considered among the best medical facilities in the metro Denver area.
